The only meal provided in the guesthouse is breakfast.
No food nor drinks for sale unless ordered beforehand.
Everything served at the table is aligned with the principles of regenerative tourism and ecofriendly trademarks: fresh and home cooked. I like wholesome and simple foods and I don’t serve anything that I wouldn’t eat myself. I use local products or products sourced in Denmark or in Europe. I have banned all ultra processed food.
Bornholm has a wide range of specialities and some excellent restaurants to savour local favourites or haute cuisine variants. Ask for our recommendations.
In Østerlars village there is a community managed shop which favours local produces and organic food.
The use of the kitchen for preparing meals is not included in the Bed & Breakfast option. Guests will find a kettle in their room and a basic set of crockery and cutlery. Guests usually eat outside on their terrace table, weather permitting, or in their room. There is an additional washroom for cleaning afterwards if needed. Guests who have opted out of breakfast may not use the kitchen to prepare their breakfast.
In the breakfast room, there is a shared guest fridge that can be used for storing food and drinks and a microwave for warming up pre-cooked dishes.
The guest lodge has a reputation of being spotlessness and well-kept, something guests comment appreciatively as you might have read in the reviews.
