Above the guesthouse there is a spacious open space, the Abbey, with a hygge corner at one end and my office space at the other. Between there is a lot of empty space with a meditation circle in the middle.
The Abbey is a private room. It is a consecrated space for experiencing deep silence, practicing stillness and discovering joyful solitude. These contemplative practices take precedence over vigorous body work such as energetic dancing.
Access to the Abbey is reserved for guests on a long stay be it a retreat or residency. It is where a customised workspace can be arranged for working on a creative project.
The room is available on request for B&B guests seeking some quiet and contemplative time. In the space, other than being silent, it is important to tread softly so as not to disturb the guests beneath.
