In December we come to the end of our pilgrimage of identity and purpose uncovering the art of voicing from the heart. Over the past months we have become dazzling artists painting, singing and writing of the splendours of life and our miraculous presence in this world both broken and whole, fragmented and unified. We have acknowledged our wholehearted participation in odysseys with wholeness which hurl us over numerous thresholds so that we become fully human, beacons of love radiating in a grief-stricken landscape, forever aligned with the rhythm of the eternal breath.

Together we have walked on the pastures of wonder imbued with the finest qualities of hope and mercy. There and yonder, we have learnt to bring together our loving presence and our escapades into dissociation; to balance our moments of helplessness with our blasts of resourcefulness; to walk in peace and, paradoxically, in partnership with fear, our faithful companion; to be uplifted by joy and consoled by melancholy; to contend with our merciful anger and our unconditional availability for the transformative journey threaded in our life-trajectory.

To celebrate this amazing journey, let’s gather one more time to undertake a vision quest where we let go of what is still unforgiven and unlived in us, or drenched in fear, so that we may flourish in a future graced with love and hope. The approaching winter solstice is an auspicious time for putting down our pilgrim’s staff, taking off our walking shoes and finding our place in the sacred circle to undertake a shamanic journey moving through, and with, the elemental powers of Earth, Water, Air and Fire.  The alchemy of this specific inner journey opens us up to receive the bespoke guidance as to the one path to wholeness we are meant to walk, who we are meant to be in the wholeness of our selfhood, and what is the unique gift we are here to bring into world and bestow on humanity. As we graciously receive the love of the world, we prepare ourselves “for our emergence into the light of a proper human future” where we are fully ready to speak the good matter which dwells in our inditing heart.
